“Bret has helped me grow as a man and a basketball player at the same time. Being able to talk with other people about it and know that you aren’t alone was helpful for me. I think most athletes can be prideful at times. We don’t always share how we feel, so to be able to share and trust that we’re all in it together and we can talk to each other about whatever has been good for me. I try to talk to my wife about it but she doesn’t really understand as much as my peers do.”
